The Natural Environment Focus Area focuses on creating a more sustainable green infrastructure throughout the city which prioritizes the health of both people and the natural world which surrounds us.
NOTE: The Plan cannot possibly capture all ideas, but we want to be sure that it captures the most impactful. Please keep this in mind as you review.

Green Cincinnati Plan Kickoff
2023 Green Cincinnati Plan Kickoff
The 2023 Green Cincinnati Plan launched on May 31, 2022 - marking the beginning of the update to the city's sustainability plan. The launch event kickstarted a year-long process to renew the city's commitment to building a sustainable, equitable, and resilient city. At the launch, over 300 community members attended and contributed over 1,100 recommendations and identified 150+ barriers across each GCP Focus Areas.
